Experience in Recording and Production

Bryant’s background in audio began in professional recording studios in New York City, where he worked during the shift from analog to digital production. After studying audio engineering and gaining hands-on experience in studio environments, he went on to build and operate his own recording space.

His work has included:

  • Abacus Entertainment round Logo

Recording and engineering for voice and music projects

  • Abacus Entertainment round Logo

Studio management and long-term client production work

  • Abacus Entertainment round Logo

Digital audio production using Pro Tools

This foundation continues to shape how he approaches voice over production today.

Creating Voice Over Demos

Bryant leads demo production at Abacus, working with actors across commercial voice over, animation, video games, and corporate narration. His role is to guide both the performance and the production process so the final demo reflects how actors are evaluated in real casting situations.

Each demo is developed through:

  • Abacus Entertainment round Logo

Script selection based on the actor’s voice and goals

  • Abacus Entertainment round Logo

Directed recording sessions that shape delivery and pacing

  • Abacus Entertainment round Logo

Editing and final production to ensure clarity and consistency

The focus is on building demos that feel specific and usable, rather than broad or generic.

Working One on One with Actors

A key part of Bryant’s process is working directly with actors in a studio setting. This allows for real-time direction, adjustment, and refinement during recording sessions.

In addition to demo production, he helps actors develop:

  • Abacus Entertainment round Logo

    Microphone technique

  • Abacus Entertainment round Logo

    Awareness of pacing and timing

  • Abacus Entertainment round Logo

    Comfort working under direction

This approach gives actors a clearer understanding of what is expected in professional recording environments.

Approach to Production

Bryant’s work is grounded in the practical side of voice over. His focus is on helping actors create materials that are clear, current, and aligned with how casting decisions are made today.

Rather than following a fixed formula, each project is shaped around the individual actor and the type of work they are pursuing.
