Emma Romasco is a voice actor and coach at Abacus Entertainment who works with actors on animation, anime, and video game performance. Her coaching focuses on helping actors develop believable characters, emotional range, and the technical control needed for modern voice over work.

She works with actors at different stages, guiding them through both performance and the practical demands of recording for animation and interactive media.

In addition to her work with Abacus, Emma has supported advanced training through assisting Brucee Kronnberg in his Krakower intensives in New York City. She has also coached at the Art of Acting Studio in Los Angeles, working with actors on performance and character development.

Background in Theater and Storytelling

Emma began her career in theater, performing in the Boston area before moving to New York City to study at NYU Tisch’s New Studio on Broadway. During her training, she also studied Shakespeare abroad at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London.

After graduating, she continued working in the New York theater scene and performed in Off-Broadway productions. She later joined Actors Equity through TheaterWorks USA’s touring production of Pete the Cat.

Her background in theater continues to shape her approach to voice acting, with a strong focus on storytelling, character development, and performance discipline.

Transition into Voice Over

During the shift in the entertainment industry in 2020, Emma began focusing fully on voice acting. Drawn to the storytelling found in animation, anime, and video games, she transitioned from onstage work to voice over.

She began training at Abacus Entertainment and quickly became part of the team. Today, she works as both a coach and Program Manager, helping guide actors through their training and development.
